They have added features I suggested to Calvin 18 months ago

Its MIDi over USB ( no Audio ) , for use with a Librarian app

The "Wireless" switch on rear is for the BT-4

But I suspect if they ship 100's of units, they will be in for a new level of awakening sleeping giants

Do you have any sense of pricing?  Even ballpark?  It looks like a deeper version of the THR100 concept - plus presets and MIDI control.  I like it!

It will be up there  - slightly below Kemper   - I estimate over $1000  to- $1200 street

they need a better profit center than selling IOS apps at $20 each

and the $200 Win/OSX Desktop apps are not selling as fast

(I cant say anymore)

FYI here's what I could make out I/O and control wise from that video:

SO VERY TRUE ;D

vanceg

Looks interesting.  The Effects would be more interesting to me personally, but I know I'm in the minority of guitarists who don't really care for guitar amp sounds.....

yuri

Yes , very interesting !It can replace an Kemper ?

yuri

Function -Match amp , is what interests me the most  of all !!!!I do not know if this can work well with Positive Grid AMP MATCH  ?To specify, for create or profiling an old guitar isolated CD track sound (without mic and amp) . Kemper is good for profiling an real amp but an old isolated guitar track sound - have problem, not work !.   as real audio sampler .

The biggest hurdle is the Bias Head will be from the same hardware team that executed the BT-4, and Jamup Up Audio Interfaces
Positive Grid Hardware has a poor track record IMHO.

GuitarBuilder

Judging by the BT-4 it is shaky at best.  And their tech support goes silent at the most inopportune moments.

Agreed

At least they finally have "MIDI" as a help topic here

This is not an app/software-only product.  It's a physical object you can carry around as well as plug your guitar directly into.  They also claim it will work with bass.

Main piece of info to convey is Search here wont work well unless you start from the homepage here

https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php

And links were posted to help the other 2,000+  folks who also view this thread

The keywords I may have actually used was "bias head".  Got no results.

Today I get results with those keywords.

But since I can't seem to remember the exact keywords, there's no point in further discussion of the forum search functions.
