Hi there!

I hope this is not a silly question, I read the manuals and could not find an answer.... I have my VG99 connected to my sound card, focusrite scarlett 18i6 through Spdif. Thing is, anytime I use it, I hear constant clicks and pop sounds. I believe its related to the clock but can't solve it. If its connected through the analog outs ins, that does not happen.

Any ideas or advice? Thanks so much in advance!!

The VG-99 outputs PCM @ 44.1kHz via SPDIF OUT.

Need to use the Focusrite Mix Console app to ENABLE the SPDIF input on Scarlett and make it Slave  Clock from SPDIF Input and run all your tracks in your DAW at 44.1kHz

Thanks admustaniac. I thought about that but I couldn't slave the focusrite to the vg99 clock. Is there a concrete way to do it?

Read the Scarlett 18i6 Manual for SPDIF SYNC on page 20

Set Sync input to SPDIF , and clock rate to 44.1kHz

Sorted! Thanks so much. It was a simple thing but couldn't do it before. I was trying to change the clock to spdif when the vg99 was off and could not do it! ha.

MANY THANKS Admsustainiac
