I really think the VG-99 factory patches are poop.  I have downloaded some cool patches from this site but only a handful appeal to me. I'm not much of a twiddler so I guess I was a bit nuts buying the VG-99. Has anybody really overhauled their whole user presets and would it be possible to let me download them all off them. Thanks.
I should be practising scales on the piano right now.

Most here agree -

Thats why we have a User patch exchange and one user created a Zip file bundle of all VG-99 User created patches here:

This link takes you a sorted list of the User created VG-99 patches.

And this link shows you how to load them:

Yeah - actually, one of the most recent things I've done is worked on more standard overdriven guitar sounds recently.  In my opinion they are not quite ready for prime time but they are getting there.

And yes, the stock patches don't play to the 99's strengths.  The other thought is: what patches are you looking for?  What kind of sound?

Thanks guys, I thought it was just me being fussy. I'm a big fan of the strokes and love their guitar sounds. Vintage with so much power. The Black Keys bluesy kick ass guitar sound. I'm not sure it could be done but a replica of the sound of the distorted organ in Gold On The Ceiling. Black Crowes' deep bluesy guitar sound. Radiohead's dreamlike acoustic sound. I don't want much do I? I'll keep checking out the new patches and try my best to contribute some of my own. Cheers.
