Looks like a new set of 41 new Patches from Roland Germany.

Can someone translate this?

Patches:

Gothic Sound Set Info (can someone translate again?):

Some of the patches sound evocative:  "Stringperformer", "Synclavier", "Oud", "Synth Ovation" etc.

Much more.  Again, another collection in a .G9L format file so you will need the librarian to perform the extraction of individual patches otherwise the .G9L file will wipe all of your VG-99 patches and memory!

My music projects online at http://www.aliensporebomb.com/

GK Devices:  Roland VG-99, Boss GP-10, Boss SY-1000.

Please someone lookover to check it.  I used Word 2007 translate button
Delegated theGothic SoundsIN the VG-99
The transfer in the VG-99 is done with the LIBRARIAN software (CD is included in the VG-99).
(Step 1) and 2) explains first once again as the VG-99 driver and the VG-99 editor & librarian software is installed. The transfer of the GOTHIC SOUNDS explains (from step 3).
(1) VG-99 DRIVER INSTALL
The VG-99 still connect to the computer!
Put the VG-99 CD into the drive and open the folder "DRIVER". Further, it goes like:
- PC with Windows Vista: Open the folder "Vista" and double click on the "Setup.exe" file.
- PC with Windows XP: Open the folder "XP" and double click on the "Setup.exe" file.
Follow the instructions on the screen (press "Next"). When the window appears "The software has not passed Windows logo testing", press "Continue installation".
A window with 5 steps (in English): the VG-99 with a USB cable close now to the computer and turn it. It appears a "Welcome, Windows Update link to?", click "No, not this time" and "Next". It appears a "Please insert software CD", click "Install the software automatically" and "Next". The driver is now installed. When the window appears "The software has not passed Windows logo testing", press "Continue installation". Click on "Finish" at the end.
- For Mac OS x:Open the "Driver" folder and double click on the file "VG99USBDriver.pkg".
Follow the instructions on the screen.
(2) EDITOR-AND LIBRARIAN SOFTWARE INSTALL
On the CD that accompanies the VG-99, VG-99 drivers are located next to the two programs: the VG-99 Editor software (to set all parameters in a patch) and the VG-99 librarian software (order to sort all the patches, archive, etc.). These two programs are located on the VG-99 CD in the folder "EDITOR". Open the folder.
- For PC: Double click on the "Setup.exe" file.
The editor and the librarian software be installed together; just follow the instructions on the screen below (always "next" and "yes" click, "finish" at the end).
- For Mac: Open the folder "Editor" and double click on the file "VG 99EditorInstaller.mpkg".
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Now, the two programs are installed and you can start it.
3) GOTHIC SOUNDS IN THE VG-99 TRANSFER
Start the librarian software. You will see the main window ("main") with all patches. IMPORTANT: Only from this window you can send patches in the VG-99 ("WRITE ALL", "WRITE SELECTED") and only in this window, you can read patches from the VG-99 ("READ ALL", "READ SELECTED").
The stored the librarian software patches are always in a file with the extension ". g9l" (short for VG-99 Librarian) stored.
So you're going for:
Then select the menu "FILE" the option "OPEN..." and choose the "VG-99_GOTHIC. g9l" file, which you see of the SOUNDS of HELDEN website on your computer stored; Double click on this file.
In the librarian software opens a subwindow with the sounds of 41. Because you can transfer only from the main window in the VG-99 patches, you need to copy the 41 patches there now:
--Select with the mouse the patches (patch 1 click and drag the mouse to patch 41),
-Copy the patches (CTRL-C or Apple key + C at the same time press)
-Close the subwindow and open the Haupfenster (main window, googled Haupfenster to translate)
-Select in the main window with the mouse the patch, from which the sounds are to be inserted, such as "1"
-The 41 patches paste (CTRL + V or Apple key + V at the same time press)
The sounds have now appeared in the main window and are all selected. Now click on "WRITE SELECTED" and only these 41 patches are transferred in the VG-99.

Correct. I played along with the patches and found it very comfortable to install the one or the other patch with the Librarian Software.
Open the .G9L file, click on the desired patch and use WRITE . Then choose a User destination and save it.
Your System settings will not be changed.
P.S. Jochen S. created lots of his patches with the Patch Volume 22. I had to set most of them to 100 and they sounded (to my settings) better.
Nice GR300, Ovation/Acoustic and more  among them :)
FENDER STRATOCASTER (1974); BRIAN MAY RED SPECIAL; VG 99; GR 55; Yamaha DX 7

Music was my first love and it will be my last (JOHN MILES)
