I wouldn't trust any GK cables on eBay that weren't  'official'

No - I got mine from Sam Ash on Ebay, for research

Thanks, I was a bit confused by the previous post.
so the verified was for a y cable you installed the diodes on?

Basically an Ebay Seller started selling these cheap GK13 Y cables But they have no Voltage blocking PROTECTION  DIODES, and have all pins wired 1:1   - THEY WILL  fry your connected Roland/Boss GL Processor gear. (shorting pin #12 +7VDC and pin#13 -7VDC on multiple connected GK processors WILL DAMAGE YOUR GEAR!.

And they are built too short for most applications

But they can be modified, as detailed in this schematic I created back in 2014

Recently i acquired a genuine Roland GKP-2 Y-Spliter cable - and discovered my old schematic above matches the genuine Roland GKP-2 Y-Splitter cable

Has anyone info on these

The company selling these not answering phone to ask if pins 12 & 13 are disconnected on male connector B.
The cost more than the ones with the square box, but if you have to cut wires it's not worth the extra.

Its suspect because he posts pics of 2 different models

lacking power steering diodes, this "y" cable may actually  damage  your GK gear -

and its going to be tough to modify it since it all epoxy  / molded in.

It must comply with this schematic - else you might get smoke and dead gear

I know its been a long time since this thread began with the original question of adding a 13 pin thru to a GR-55 chassis to feed another GK device. Would that not work using Elantic's schematic? Thanks

It works , just follow my schematic with the diodes

And do not connect pins 12,13
