..the email I got (from Boss) states "Limited stocks at Selected dealers..."

..I would maybe start with someone like Better Music (ACT)

It was not $699 the street price already?
Here in Europe is 699 € from the beginning.

Currently NZD $1299.00 in New Zealand.

AUD $999.00 down to $699.00 = USD $754.00 down to $528.00
or 34,000 Indian Rupee's,
or 470.99€  euros.

It's relative to where you are,
you can work everything's value into an international currency, like the McDonald's Big Mac, as a cost comparison baseline.

Sorry I thought we were talking about US dollars.
It seems that in the rest of the world there is no indication of this price decrease, at least for the moment.
I hope it reaches Europe, maybe it would be time to give it a second chance

Unless its Starbucks Coffee - luckily I found that the price of Coffee at Starbucks was more universal, cheapest place to buy a medium size cup of Coffee in Tokyo is Starbucks @ $3.20 /cup

http://www.starbucks.co.jp/en/beverage/espresso.html
http://www.x-rates.com/calculator/?from=JPY&to=USD&amount=1

most other places in Tokyo, Coffee was over $10 / cup and no free refill.
