The Boss SY-300 will function as your Computer's USB Audio Input  / output interface

Quoteso i set my drivers to sy300 and im getting no audio out my pc speakers
On a Windows PC- - You cant do that with the official Roland ASIO Driver

Quotemy purpose is to record without headphones on fl studio what am i doing wrong ?

Locate and download the Boss SY-300 USB Driver for your Operating system

https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/sy-300/updates_drivers/

Follow the detailed instructions in the Boss SY-300 USB Audio Driver  "README.HTM" file that is inside the Boss Sy-300 USB Driver zip file
https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=15396.0

Instead, you must connect separate Self Powered Speakers directly to the SY-300 output jacks

This is due to the non Multi-Client ASIO USB audio driver used by the Boss SY-300  - its part of the Steinberg ASIO driver spec

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_Stream_Input/Output

Some folks report the third party ASIO4ALL Driver can accomplish this - but its always been a 10 % success rate in  my experience, with much higher audio latency. makes it impossible to play the SY-300 "live"

how to get it to this ? like promised

USB Interface for Computers

The SY-300 is equipped a USB audio interface to capture audio tracks directly into music production software on your computer. You can record the SY-300's synth and effects sounds, or just monitor them while recording a dry signal. Then, feed that signal back into the SY-300 to "re-synth" the sound and create the perfect tone for your mix. You can feed other tracks from your DAW into the SY-300 as well, processing them with the synth engine and effects to create cool new sounds for your productions. The SY-300's USB connection also allows you to build and organize patches with the dedicated BOSS Tone Studio editor and download new patches from the BOSS Tone Central website.

Connect self powered speakers to the SY main or sub outputs
and choose the SY driver in the PC , I guess in your DAW.
I'm not sure where you choose it ,I'm on Mac
but it shouldn't be difficult

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

You have to change the routing to re-synth. I've done it with Sonar, that's how I originally programmed sounds.

i tried resynth and direct off and completely tried every input an output i have installed but im not hearing anything so this is becoming stressful and i am sure theirs a simple solution ..   with my old rp360 i was able to plug into my computer and edit while listing to my speakers on pc is this even possible with boss sy300 ?

If you're trying to listen through the pc it's not gonna work.

If you described what the problem is and exactly what youre trying to do, it'd be easier to help you.

Not possible with SY-300
must connect speakers directly to the SY-300 Output as explained in the Owners Manual

Use Headphones directly connected to SY-300 Headphone Output

You will not be able to get sound routed to the internal laptop speakers with the Roland / Boss SY-300 USB Audio / MIDI Driver

Quotehad no idea what that all meant

It's a question of how various driver models work in windows. What driver model did your rp360 use? In general ASIO doesn't support multiple devices so you can't input from one device and output to another. I don't know fl studio. Does it support WDM/KS mode? That should allow you to use multiple drivers, but the latency may suck. As others have said, if you're using ASIO mode you can't input from the SY-300 and output to your PC's sound device.

thanks guys for the help as you can tell im not that great with instructions .lol

You could try using ASIO4ALL (www.asio4all.com).  This can allow to aggregate audio devices by using SY300 as your input and your speakers connected to your PC as your output sound.  Once you installed ASIO4ALL, you need to go to control panel and set up the input and output, then configure FL Studio with the same input and output.  Hope this helps!

Boss SY-300 will not work with Windows XP

boss sy300

so i figured how to play on laptop speakers just in case anyone prefers to stay away from the amp or headphones when recording and this picture guide is for FL studio users only since i haven't tested it on any other daws but FLasio driver supports the boss sy300

how high is the audio latency delay?

on laptop speakers its 100precent responsive but its way off on usb portable speakers or montitors with hdmi speakers
