Without it, you have to check each category to see what's new. I miss that.

I see if there is anything new if the Title Icon on the left column is not faded.
If it is faded, then that subject has been read and nothing new posted.

Is it "broke" ?

FWIW  - Here is what it looks like here ,

Be sure you enter VGuitarforums from the home page URL.
http://www.vguitarforums.com

when I click "Show unread posts since last visit" - it looks like this:

I have only 5 unread posts at the moment because I typically check in here many times each day  / night from this URL here:

On my page there is nothing under "Hello Bbach" I'm sure there is something that I've inadvertently clicked on that has hidden those 2 options and log in stats.

I assume everyones looks like mine here:?

with

"Show unread posts since last visit"
"Show new replies to your posts"

Post a screen grab pic of what it looks like on your end - perhaps we can fix it for you?

Be sure to look up on the top of the page on the right where the date and time is displayed.

If you see a + sign, it means you have these controls hidden
Click the icon the + sign on top right window to deploy additional functions. Otherwise they remain hidden.
When  the icon displays  "-" , these extra info/functions are revealed
( see below)
Perhaps obvious, but it happened once to me.

Thanks Autana. Clicking the plus sign next to the date restored those options.
