13 pin bass wanted

Looking to buy a bass set up w/13 pin.  Open to all ideas at this time.

hmmm..  GK Bass should only need 11 pins, no?  ;-)

There are 6 string basses, and the GK-3B Bass pickup uses all 13 pins.

Probably have to buy any bass you like the look and feel of (and maybe cheap), and either fit an external GK-3B hex pickup, or fit an internal GK-B Kit (and a bit of routering in the back of the body).

Other than Godin , I don't any makers of gK ready bass.

What do you guys think about piezo vs. GK pickup for bass guitar modeling?  Will the same issues with guitar modeling be noticed with bass modeling?

I have both.

There is some handling noise with piezo like on gtr.
I got a VB filter from RMC and all is fine now.


So piezo is cleaner looking construction but GK is more "plug & play"
