GK-3 --> Spectre?

This is kinda random... but, heck. 8)

I got curious about the old 360 Systems Spectre analogue synth (with Oberheim SEM board) circa 1979. I quickly determined that they're a bit pricey ($900+ if found at all) & possibly cranky (Bob Mothersbaugh wasn't impressed).

But one fan commented that when a Spectre hits the market, it's often lacking the pickup. I got the impression that many Spectres are reworked into modular synth units to take advantage of the SEM. But it left me wondering whether anyone here might know how compatible the Roland pickups would be with it.

Very interesting to say the least.  I ponder how well that system worked, I've never even see a real one.  Just pictures in ads and on the internet.
