VG-99 , USB connecton fto use the editor

Hi - I'm Mike & a newbie with the VG-99 . I'm trying to make proper connection with the VG-99 Editor & Librarian software. With the Editor , I keep getting an error message box -  " Problem with connecting to VG-99 - check all settings" . My M-Audio fast track pro interface is connected to my PC via USB. My VG-99 is connected to my PC via USB. I've downloaded the windows 8.1 driver from Roland. I've set up the midi in the Editor software to my fast track pro interface. Ive gone into the VG-99 & hopefully set that up correctly - as per the VG-99 user manual . Can anyone give me step by step instructions, so I can check all my settings (software & VG-99) & fix this problem . - Much appreciated

Launch VG-99 Editor and click on "Help" opens a detailed Help file that explains the crucial VG-99 Editor MIDI I/O settings and requirement to use the VG-99 USB MIDI Connections

Of course this requires correct installation of the VG-99 USB Driver
