Shot in the dark. Just wonder if any body experience the same problems that i have with my gr55 unit. First when unit power up every things is good. When the unit is on for several hours, the unit starting to acts weirs. Eg. When the gk3 position at guitar only the keyboard sound comes through & if you switch the patch changes & return, the keyboard sound is silent.

In most cases this revolves around the Gk13 pin cable  - even brand new ones

Good band name though: " Spurious Malfunction"

You can't always work what you want seems appropriate listening while you clean your new GK-13 cable

Yes, cleaning cables is the first thing to try.

Do you have the GR-55 connected to a computer?  Sometimes timeouts are an issue after several hours, and this can cause flakiness also.
Address the process rather than the outcome.  Then, the outcome becomes more likely.   - Fripp

Sometimes a "brand new" cable is your worst enemy...
