Eddie Jobson- what a great synth player! One of my favorite passages in all of late '70's era prog is the section in the song Nevermore on the first UK album where Eddie Jobson and Allan Holdsworth swap solos. At the tail end of one phrase Jobson uses this crazy cool effect that I always wondered about. Experimenting with the GR 55 makes me think he was using a ring modulator, and speeds up the frequency either manually or with an envelope.

So this patch uses a Ring Modulator which is engaged by the CTL switch, with an additional Assign to Internal Pedal to gradually increase the frequency. I am using with a pad type concept, but the concept could be used with a lead sound just as easily.
