Good review of several Looping Strategies at a live gig
Rig Rundown - Minus the Bear's Jake Snider, Dave Knudson, and Cory Murchy

.

Very helpful thanks .

I see why a unit like the TC Helicon's Vocal Live 3 & Extreme ( & other good looking units ) have their appeal .

Being that I came on board with my guitar playing in 1998 after recovering from
milk bottle glass finally exiting my left hand's finger tips ( 1962 is when t went down)
, learning about stomps and looping has been an eye opening experience with so much
to understand and realize how to get " your " sound electrically speaking .

In cases of redundancy it's good to have back up on live gigging , but economics dictate frugality ,
sometimes you find you bought more than needed due in part that you have a certain
chain of equipment covered and hate when you find out that you really didn't need that extra
unit .

Also -

Seeing what pedal boards look like doesn't turn me on at all on stage . The glob of cables etcetera
- takes away from the ambiance .

Before I play I tape down all mic cables , speaker cables , I like it neat .

I liked the streamline look of my Digitech GNX4 next to my Roland GR33 .
