Keep trying-
to find an electronics engineer,
they will replace the dead component by using a meter to tell which one is dead-- good luck!
Rock and Rock my boat, as long as you don't rock and rock my boat!hehe

Is it completely dead?  Have you replaced the lithium 3v battery?

Those things are hard to kill. I used mine daily, left it on for hours, then let it sit for 2 years and it fired back up and it worked like a charm. Depending upon where your are, you can find someone to suss out the problem, but they seem to run used at about $300, so you may be able to just replace it if the price of fixing is too high.
