After years using various modelling setups, I'm now on a GP-10 for my Jazz bands. About 15 years ago I started using a VG-8, then went VGA-7, Variax, VG-99, various pitch shifters, and now the GP-10. It's the best solution so far. Nice and compact but flexible enough for what I need.

I normally use it for a 3-piece - Sax, Rhythm guitar and me on bass, swapping to lead for solos. It lets us play small venues but still have 2 solo instruments.

My GK-Kit is installed in a Variax JTV-69, but for the Jazz bands, I only use the GP for bass and lead. I play through a small 1x12 powered cab.
