Hi everyone.

I have a question about how to config gr-55 and gk-3 to use  Electri6ity as my guitar synth whit out any delays.
I'm using mono mode in GR-55 and omni in kontakt 5.0.2.
But when I'm using  Electri6ity i can't get clean sound with out any muting or delay's and other things.
another problem that i have is changing the pitch (bend) of the note. When i bending the string on my guitar it's seem have no effect on  Electri6ity.

If any one seceded to use this program with out any of  problems please tell me how?

thanks

Yes, PBR=Pitch Bend Range.   In the GR55, it is fixed at -24-+24.

I'm not that familiar with Kontakt/Electri6ity.  PBR is a function of the synth, it defines how the synth responds to pitch wheel CC messages.  I believe Electri6ity is the synth? You should be able to find a PBR parameter, or an 'up/down' parameter in there somewhere.

I just did a quick Google of "Electri6ity Manual" and found this:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=electri6ity%20manual&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vir2.com%2Fsupport%2Fdownloads%2Fcategory%2F11-electri6ity%3Fdownload%3D41%253Aelectri6ity-manual&ei=BTJBUOKoKuLCigLmxIGwAg&usg=AFQjCNGbk1GdmK9n0DnbnLNWwNBlAZhkNw

And on page 33, I found this:
Quote4.4 Pitch Bend | Range You can change the pitch bend range here.
4.5 Pitch Bend | Auto Unison Bends You can turn on or off Auto Unison Bend detection here. If you set it to 'On' you can simply play two notes together (either a half step or a whole step) and use the pitch-wheel to get the typical unison-bend sound, which bends one note to meet the other (a common guitar technique).

I noticed browsing around the manual that their definition of POLY and MONO doesn't seem to match the GR55's definition of POLY and MONO (which I've seen on other devices).   Normally, POLY means the same MIDI channel can carry a bunch of different notes at the same time, e.g., for a keyboard.  Note also that the keyboard has ONE pitch wheel for all notes...  MONO means a MIDI channel can carry only ONE note at a time.   On a guitar, a string can only play one note at a time; further, you want playing techniques (such as string bends, etc) to be associated with that string ONLY (since you can bend one string and leave the other alone).   Thus, in the more common usage of the terms MONO and POLY, to play guitar synth you want it in MONO mode, since you want each string to have its own channel, so pitch bends, etc., can be processed for the proper string.

In my 30-sec quick scan of this manual, they note that you want POLY mode for strumming chords.   So I'd just be careful & read it a few times & experiment with the different settings until it works as desired.

Many MIDI Guitarists are triggering NI Komplete / Kontact using EvenHarmonic's GTAK program which has tools specifically for MIDI Guitarists.

and from my perspective,  "Electri6ity " at $399 is priced way too high for what you get.
