Hi!.

I'm thinking of buying a GP10. I wonder, does the unit accept patch change commands? I see other uses sending patch change commands through the Midx10, but can the GP10 receive them as well?

I'm a long time player, but totally green on implementing midi in any device.

Thanks.

Yes, GP-10 responds to incoming patch change messages.

Thank you! I thought so, but wanted to make sure.

Keep in mind that because of GP10 lacking of a MIDI IN connector you need a computer to send patch changes or some of the solutions discussed here :Rasperry PI or Primova MIDX-20.

Have fun with GP10 ;)

GP-10 has a USB port which supports midi and audio.
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

True, GP-10 has USB, but as Pasha states, you will need a third party computer to access all Audio and MIDI

Yes, I've already inquired about the Mid20x. I assume I'll get one before long after aquiring the GP 10.

Thanks.
