On a different topic (could not re-find the thread, sorry).
I uploaded the latest software update 1.0.5 for Mac and I was under the assumption that they had fixed the feature where the NS would now have a on/off button like the other effects. This is in Tone Studio not the units editing screens.  Anyone aware of this? Thanks
Jim

The updated fixes are listed on the firmware download page.
If N.S. on/off switching is not listed, then I would not expect it added.

Update history

[ Version 1.05 ] OCT 2016
 Bug Fixes
The following bug were fixed. •The sound fails to change when "OUTPUT SELECT" is used to switch the amplifier type while headphones are connected to the PHONES jack.
•The indicators for the UP, DOWN, and CTL1 switches sometimes flash at tuner startup.
•DELAY sometimes fails to be applied during EASY EDIT changes.
•Noise sometimes occurs when TYPE is changed for OD/DS or PREAMP.
•Noise sometimes occurs when REVERB TYPE is changed from DELAY to another TYPE setting.
•Executing a factory reset for the GT-1 while BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT-1 is connected results in unmatching displays on the GT-1 and in BOSS TONE STUDIO.
•The color of the [UP] and [DOWN] switches remains lighted in red.
•When the [UP] or [DOWN] switch is used to select a patch number, the switch color sometimes lights up in red.
•ON/OFF is displayed on the editing screen for NS (NOISE SUPPRESSOR).
Functionality Improvements
•The trigger position when switching TUNER on and off by operating an expression pedal has been corrected.
•The characteristics of "OUTPUT SELECT" when PREAMP TYPE is BGNR UB or ORNG ROCK have been corrected.
•The functioning of CTL1 was set to OFF when not using TAP DELAY with EASY EDIT.

Maybe the fix is that the NS is *not* supposed to have an on/off switch. Mine doesn't, in the updated BTS software nor in the GT-1's own editing screen.

All Boss Tone Studio for Windows download links have been removed while Roland /Boss sort out why recent MS Windows update/Adobe AIR updates present a conflict for the BTS Installer

If you already have HYS installed ,please DO NOT REMOVE IT .

I might take a few months for Roland/Boss to deliver a fix

Meanwhile ,use Gumtown's Floorboard Editor for your device (Katana,GP-10,GT-100,GT-001)
https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?posts/24057971/

To all those having problems installing tone studio on windows 10: Set your date back (a year will do) and then run the install - this will get it installed and then you can change the date back to the correct date - All Good!
I believe it is probably something like a code signing certificate has expired (or similar) - changing the date gets around whatever check it is performing during the install. Enjoy!

Some of you may have read the Katana thread, and heard about the "Sneaky Amps",
a subset of hidden (GT-100 type) features built into the Katana, which can be accessed by special editing software.

I have just made a GT-1 equivalent here (windows only so far)
https://sourceforge.net/projects/fxfloorboard/files/experimental/

Not all functions work (No FX Loop on GT-1)   - but feel free to explore

Once again, not fully working with my Mac laptop running macOS Sierra 10.12.5. I can open BTS, and I can edit a single patch, but I can't drag any patches into a LiveSet, nor drag anything from set to set. No other way to add patches to a LiveSet.
