only 1 GR30 used in this demo, with an extra footswitch and my custom Godin.
Dry sound is in the mix, so yes, you can hear the latency. I've choosen the sounds so that they complete another, the cleantapping sound serves as the attack phase of the synth sound.

CodeSmart

Wow!!!!, that was really impressive.
Thanks for charing your technique.
Running to my guitar now ...   :D
But I got more gear than I need...and I like it!

Thanks again Paul!...

....GR-30's rule!!!!!    ;D

...just got another one for $75..is this becoming an addiction?  ::)
...working on a little 'chaining' exercise next year, but the physicality of it will now have to wait until we move house in a couple of months..   :-\     ...sigh..     ..but at least I finally get a 'music room'...   ;D

Happy New Year..will talk to you about some of my ideas soon...

Cheers,
Peter

Great job
Not bad for an 18 year old device ;)

Is it possible to share the details on the GR-30 settings, or post patch?

Thanks Elantric.. I've never used the editor for the GR30, so I'll look it up manually

Almost like a synth patch from Yaz "Upstairs at Eric's".  Nice one!

Great demo!!! The GR30 is still my very favorite, guitar player friendly, guitar synth. Best internal tracking of all. It just has always felt right. Never a ghost note, ever, unless I do something dumb.

Gaustu

Thank you a lot!

It's like I fell in love with it when met it for the first time, was trying it in the shop, dont remember what year was that of 90-s, the impression is the same now
Parker PDF85 modified: Sustainiac, SD TB-4, Piezo Hexpander 13 pin out.

Here are links to videos for Roland GR-30  The first one is simply amazing, and is now what I use as a standard against everything else.  Just beautiful, you have to see this to believe it:

Maybe the Tripleplay is just as good, dont know, but my allltime guitarsynth favorit 'till now is the Roland GR30.
It is easy to mod, since its half analog. You can find the velocity mod on this forum.
