Noisey300

Having a problem with my newly acquired (secondhand but well looked after) RC-300 - when I try to plug anything into any secondary output, I get lots of noise.  Whether I plug into sub left or right, headphones, or anything else - if I have anything already going into the mono input, I get lots of noise.  Anyone else experienced this?  I'm thinking I probably need repairs, but if anyone has any insight, it will be much appreciated!

Just out of curiosity, what is the setting of your MIC input? I've found on my RC300 the MIC input is very hot. Try turning it way down even if nothing is plugged into it as an initial troubleshooting measure.

It can be tricky to get the input levels right. Like with my keyboard, sometimes I get a lot of hiss if I'm using the wrong balance between the RC300's preamps vs the levels of the keyboard (and its effect pedal). So it might be something like that?

If that doesn't work maybe we can try something else.
