In more detail: it looks like Blofeld is USB MIDI class compliant and I would like to know it is possible use USB hub into Kenton / iConnectiviti4+ and use FTP as "keyboard" and Waldorf as synthesizer all via USB not regular MIDI.

OK. It looks like it is possible. No it isn't with Kenton like host and hub. Only regular MIDI.

If you use a USB Host to MIDI converter  - like the Kenton MIDI USB Host, or original iConnectMIDI, or iConnectMIDI 4+ - yes should work fine.

FTP Receiver USB > USB Host port on USB Host to MIDI converter > 5 pin MIDI Out > Waldorf Blofeld 5pin MIDi in.

But since the Waldorf Blofeld is USB Class Compliant, I bet the Raspberry Pi could also be able to do this too
FTP Receiver USB> Raspberry Pi > Waldorf Blofeld USB.

Elantric,
I made logical mistake. It dosn't work for me via USB hub i.e. without MIDI 5 DIN :(  Maybe iConnectiviti MIDI4+ with it's internal routing can handle this. Any way I can live without that :)

Avoid Using a generic  "USB HUB"  - many musical MIDI Class Compliant devices never "play well"  with USB Hubs.

This should work:
FTP Receiver USB > USB Host port on Dedicated USB Host to 5 pin DIN MIDI conversion product's 5 pin MIDI Out > Waldorf Blofeld 5pin MIDi in.

Use a Dedicated USB Host to 5 pin DIN MIDI conversion product from this list:

* Kenton MIDI USB Host

* Original Black iConnectMIDI,

* iConnectMIDI 4+

USB   1 x USB Type-B
Uses standard USB MIDI drivers provided by the host computer OS

Which is good news - a round about way to say Waldorf Blofeld is MIDI USB Class Compliant

Since the Waldorf Blofeld is MIDI USB Class Compliant, I bet the Raspberry Pi could also be able to do this too
FTP Receiver USB> Raspberry Pi > Waldorf Blofeld USB.

Avoid a USB Hub

Like I wrote it works with USB MIDI host to 5 DIN. But my idea was to not use 5 DIN :) It need some routing inside hub... so in future I will check MIDI4+.
