Anybody know how or where to get one of these? It's from Source Audio, and they say "coming soon" but that was last year and I don't see on their site anywhere to buy it.

These are still very new:

Report from a  Source Audio - Soleman Midi Foot controller beta Tester here:

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/beta-testing-the-source-audio-soleman-midi-foot-controller.1713690/

Well I'm fortunate enough to get the opportunity to beta test the upcoming Source Audio SoleMan MIDI Foot Controller. Starting this thread so anyone interested can and should subscribe to the thread to take the journey of testing it out and putting it through the paces. @rsmith601 and the guys at Source Audio are going to be watching the thread as well to answer any questions about it too!!

So what is it?

(picture from their site... it's called SoleMan now)

Quote"Take complete control of MIDI hardware rigs, the Neuro Effects System, or recording and performance software with the Soleman MIDI Foot Controller. Its three modes of control include simple program change, bank mode, and custom sequencing. Users can create custom MIDI messages, manage set lists, assign custom names to preset patches, output continuous controller messages with an expression pedals, and send tap tempo."

Couldn't have come at a better time seeing that I just received the Chase Bliss Tonal Recall and Empress Reverb and planned on finally trying out MIDI. At this point i know jack all about MIDI so we're going to see this from a perspective of a MIDI n00b! Going to be using those pedals along with Source Audio Nemesis, Source Audio Reflex, Hologram Dream Sequence, Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl, Moog Cluster Flux and maybe a few others.

Why do I want it? I wanted to have a small footprint switcher to control the modulation, delay and reverb on my board. Not just turn them off and on together but being able to create specific sounds and settings on each pedal to create a soundscape that i can recall at any time. Being able to time sync them all from the controller. Easily access them in the order i want.... and probably for other reasons i don't even know yet!

So subscribe to the thread if you want to see updates that i'll be writing up, sharing clips, sharing video, etc.

Still deciding on the final pedals to use for this new setup but I think i'll be wiring it up like this over the next day or two:
