Hello.
I am just a little curious to know if it is possible to record a stereo keyboard into micro BR-80? Can I use that line-in ministereo plug connection or should I use a stereo jackplug into guitar input?
Thanks for replies.

The guitar in is mono and passes through the effects chain, the mini line in goes direct to the A/D conversion for dry/direct recording, keep the recording level control at a minimum on the BR-80 to prevent noise from the effects DSP bleeding in.
You will need to adjust the keyboard output level for an optimum recording level.
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

Thank you very much Elantric and gumtown for the inputs here.

Hi.

When I try to record through the Stereo Line Input (connected to the Ax-FX II line output), the built-in microphones are automatically activated and it records both the Aux Input and the Microphones at the same time.

The switch at the back side of the BR-80 is set to GTR, not to MIC.

When I just play, in any of the 3 modes, it is OK: I only hear the Aux Input. But as soon as I press the REC button, the MIC is activated.

How can I disable the MIC for recording?. I can't find that option  ???

Gumtown, I have just seen the other post where you explain the solution:

As a matter of fact, I was sorting the problem by inserting an amplifier block at the FX chain with the volume set at 0. Now I clearly understand what is happening

Thank You!  :)
