I am researching an idea that involves mounting controllers on a guitar. I mean for instance the (expression) 'strip-controller' found on the VG-99. But it may also be as complex as a multi-touch screen. The idea is to prototype using cheap controllers as input into a MCU that will convert to/output MIDI messages. I want to experiment with having an on-board pedal board of sorts...

I have searched the interweb for a bit, but I cannot come up with the correct names for these controllers.

So any suggestions for actual products and/or names of such products are welcome.
Any ideas on the project are also welcome ;-)

Thanx,

Right, something like that...

I think the position is not ideal and the ribbon controllers are a bit short...

Wireless X/Y touchpads on many wireless keyboards can be mapped to Control functions
