Vincent Verstappen

Hello everybody,

My name is Vincent, I am from the Netherlands and I am new to this forum. I would like to ask a question. Maybe the subject has been spoken about before but I could not find the answer on this forum to a problem I am facing now, so here it goes:

I am using a boss GP10 with an internal installed GK3 pick-up. When I want to use the alternate tuning something strange happens. When for instance I tune to -1 step, that tuning can be heard but at the same time I hear the original (standard) guitar tuning.  ??? Any other alt tune setting gives the same result. I don't think that is what should happen......

Most likely I missed out on a system setting or something like that.

My question is if there is anybody out there who knows how to solve this problem?

Hope to hear from you.

Best regards

Most likely you're hearing the acoustic sound of the strings , it's a common thing.
The sound from the strings unamplified is much louder then you'd expect.
Make sure you have really closed headphones
try recording and listen

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Thanks for the reply.

As odd as it may seem, it is not the acoustic sound of the guitar I'm hearing, the sounds are both comming out of the amplifier...

Any other suggestions?
