Ok this one has a lot of stuff going on in the mix - we've got a drum loop, several pad patches, a clean guitar, a fretless bass and a lead guitar part.
All VG-99 except drums.
The Dance Dog is not Dance music except if you can dance in sort of non-danceable meters.
I was going for a Scott Henderson/Tribal Tech type feel (but not really).
Very nice sounds and playing.
That piece is very different from the style and sound I'm accustomed to hearing from you, but I like it.
Incredible playing. I really like this one.
Very, Very nice.
Very rad. right up my alley, only I'm nowhere near the shredder you are. maybe I outta post what I've been working on.
Wow, what great playing, melodic, fluid and very fast. The sounds are lovely too - I love how you fade from the synthy guitar into the heavy overdriven sound and back again. Must look into that.

I basically spent some time getting the drums up to snuff and extended the piece with an intro and little outro.
Again, all VG-99 except drums.
New to the forum and I must say that is some smooth playing.
I really enjoyed it!
Thank you! It is a style I enjoy but don't get to show it off very often - glad you liked it! :D
I just checked out "This is AlienSporeBomb" on iTunes. Very nice work. My favorite is "Time".
Nice work, I love the guitar tone it is more of a modern Virtual guitar tone. So many players want to get the sound of old tube amps instead of seeking a modern fat tone. the pads and bass also sound great, the pads also have that modern sound.
Thanks!
Dance Dog was my idea of modern fusion with some dance sensibilities and some unusual timbres for the pads.
"Time" was written for an online friend Tammo Trueper who was a very talented musician and composer who died far too young of cancer. We were supposed to work on a project together and.... time just slipped by.
To find out about Tammo and to hear his music for free check out the memorial website:

Thanks for listening again!
I only recently got turned on to Scott Henderson, so maybe I'm in an unusually receptive place for this style of music, but it sounded great to my ears.
poo Being a Scott Henderson fan I jumped on this. Sounds wicked. I really enjoy the bass and the ambient sounds. The way you nail the changes is killer. The Distorted guitar is dis-GUSTING!!! lol in a good way. I love how it just rolls in and phrases in and out of the progression like a molten slinky! I love stuff like this, keep 'em coming, man! Sounds wicked!
Thank you Guitarius - I didn't see that you had posted that. Molten Slinky! Love it!
