What's the difference between a GK2 and GK3 pickup?

I've been searching for a roland ready guitar for my VG88, and I see some guitars have the GK2 pickup, where on my current guitar I have the GK3 taped on.  What is the difference between the pickups?

The GK-3 has an adjustable radius. That's about it.

What's the radius on the GK2?
I don't know but it is used on this guitar that has a 9.5 inch Radius.

I don't know what the specific radius is on the GK-2, but I happen to own 4 of them and I use them with great success on a Strat, A Baritone set up a lot like a Jazzmaster, a LesPaul Recording (1970's), and a Honer Steinberger copy.  Using the sensitivity settings I can get the GK-2 to work pretty much everywhere.

I am hoping to make a 13 pin - 5 pin MIDI multiplexer for my Roland GK-2A pickup, but can't find the right electrical specifications. Looking at the pinout of the Roland 13 pin DIN connector I see that it requires a +/-7V voltage supply.

1) What is a typical current draw of the GK-2?
2) Any ideas for a component that can deliver these requirements? I'm looking at the LT3032..

Thanks

The GK-3 has Adjustable Radius, and lower output signal, and transmits a Control voltage on Pin #8 based on the current position of the three way Guitar / Mix / Synth switch.

Thanks for the response.

From Elantric's post, it looks like LM317 and LM337 are a good choice for the voltage regulators.

I couldn't find any information on a typical current draw though? It would be nice to find this out if I eventually move on to powering the unit with batteries. (Admittedly I could measure it myself but I am working with a very minimal setup and not very good equipment)

Thanks
