I'm usually not one for "uber" guitarists - I can usually only stomach a couple of minutes, pick my jaw up and then I've had enough, but there is just something about Alex's style that doesn't have that effect on me. Superb player.

I just re-watched these monsters.  The keyboard player stands toe to toe with Alex, which is incredibly impressive.  If there was any doubt about what Mr. Hutchings was playing through, I just thought I'd drop this screen grab here.

The GP-10 has become my go-to for guitar.  It's a capable, if imperfect, unit and untouchable at the price.

I was looking for an Album to buy because I like Alex style sooo much and this genre in general, but found none. Any hint?

Kind Regards

I listen to this full concert quite often.  I've not found it or anything like it by Alex Hutchings for sale, though I haven't looked too terribly hard.  I really like Frank Gambale's 1987 release A Present for the Future.  More jazzy, but brimming with big hooks and incredible guitar work.

Others may have their opinions, so you mileage may vary.   ;D
