Title: FC300 Expression pedal 1 issues with VG99
Post by: Nobulusprime on May 06, 2017, 05:53:03 AM
I'm hoping someone can help me here, as I'm at a loss...
I'm struggling to get the Expression pedal 1 on an FC300 that I just bought to function properly.
It won't assign to anything using the RRC2 cable. It does appear to work as a wah on some patches and it won't switch off even when you turn the WAH off! I've replicated the assigns of Expression 2 and to see if it would work but no joy.
All the patches I have downloaded from the forum that use the Expression pedal 1 aren't working properly...

The pedal and switch is working over midi fine so it's not a mechanical issue.
The operating system is 1.02 so it's up to date and I have performed a factory reset

Could it be the RRC2 cable? Or is there some internal assign/disable feature in the unit itself that I've missed?

Please help.

First thing we need to know, is the FC in SYSEX mode? Next thing we need to know is, are you making all assignment setting on the VG-99? And then make sure that the VG-99 SYSTEM / CTL / FC 300 settings are all on ASSIGNABLE(PATCH).

Thanks Brent - genius! The expression 1 wasn't set to assignable patch! So easy
Thanks again mate
