Hi. The only amp that I have is a fender twin reverb. Everthing I have tried so far sounds like poo. The is no loop so I can't bypass the pre. Any tips on making the 99 sound better through it??

Thanks.

Try this

Treble 3
Mid 3
Bass 7

That is about as "Flat" EQ you can get with a Twin,
Of course the  EQ response your specific Speaker will restrict you in other ways.
Set the VG-99 Output mode to "Combo Amp", and use the Left Main Output On the VG-99.

Additionally, as described in the attatchment  suggested previously, change the output setting to whatever sounds best.  Sometimes the JC settings sound pretty good thru a tube amp.  Above all, use the global EQ feature to send a signal the amp will reproduce more to your liking.

I have to say that the VG sounds much better thru a keyboard amp or PA main or monitor.  I use a stereo keyboard amp, whatever PA is available most of the time.

Try to experiment with the treble, middle, bass settings. Every amp needs to find proper settings
