Hello, Had my Boss 6 or so months, just getting to grips with it. However the Bass simulator in MTR does not reproduce the note i am playing. Don't know how to descibe it, it's sort of playing half a step wrong before getting the right not (not every time) a fault? or is this the best it can do ?

Try a guitar with the Neck PU and the Neck PU Tone pot rolled off below "5" - this produces a more fundamental tone with less harmonics, and improves the bass simulator tracking.

Try turning down the Tone knob on the guitar and try finger playing instead of a pick.
The bass sim is only an octave effect so the root note you play will be divided by 2, i don't see how it could be a half step out.
Is your guitar tuned correctly and intonation setup correct to the gauge of strings being used?
