Tweaked for 2020.

There's a user patch called PrimitiveSqr which I stumbled on and started playing with one day. I'm sorry I can't recall who authored it (thank you!) but it caused me to get busy on the DAW. After some synthy stuff the track wanders off in other directions. Nonetheless the GP10 again inspired me to carry on doing what I love. The Boss Slicer is in there too. Albeit just a simple 8th trem but the midi clock is crucial. There's another user patch on there called Buzzy1. Again I can't recall the contributor just now but I thank you.

Extended with a cameo from another legendary song.

Other user patches like Steel Acoustic and Indian Sitar used. Much much better than the factory ones. Guitar & Flute is another cool one. Sounds as if your strings are made of ice.

Love it!!  You have a good vision for this stuff.

Sliced over a minute off this. It's still random.

Flagrantly 'borrowed' ideas from those that have created before me.

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

This is great "driving in the car maybe a little too fast" music.  Great stuff.  If they'd used this when the GP-10 first came out they would have sold a lot more.  Who wouldn't want to do stuff like this?  Great, great!

Thanks!

I 'borrowed' from ABBA and David Bowie.

And that sequenced bit is me always being influenced by Pete Townsend. And the manic drum fills are Moonish but the drum loops are from a collection by a guy channeling John Bonham. Cool.

Hi Alex. I don't have a GP10 anymore. I went up to the SY1000. But I got most of my patches here from other users here. I'll see if I can spot them in that section.

Thanks. I looked thru and couldnt find it.

Aha! The patch is called Pulse Lead. The demo song it featured in is called Primitive Sqr? No wonder I couldn't find it.

Patch created by MusicOverGear. He/she contributed more than one and I used a few of them. Not sure if MOG visits the forum anymore.

To be honest the GP10 section is full of amazing patches. Some shockingly good sound designers/re-creators are at vguitar forums.

Still just saying: the GP-10 represents the least expensive entry level box and most trouble free gig-box for modern V-Guitar use.  Mine is sticking around along with my VG-99 and SY-1000.

I thought the GP-10 can't sync to MIDI clock, no?

This little gem solves all kinds of sync issues...

It's great for dealing with timing challenges across gear.  It spits out both a midi-clock and a tap-tempo signal, that you can feed into a CTL for Boss gear.   It accepts & can follow an input MIDI tempo.

Thanks.

I had the clock into the Slicer.
