RC300 - Two connected RC 300?
« on: October 30, 2014, 12:11:15 PM »
Where can i find any Information about working with two connected RC 300? There are some on p. 39 in the Manual, but i cant find any video or something else. Question: is it possible to use one in simple mode, the other multiple? Is it possible to play two different internal drum beats at the same time? When using pattern switch on each one, you would have four different patterns and more combinations... Does the slave RC 300 have all standard functions?

This is a super old question but I'll try to answer.

It's been a long time since I tried my RC-300 to one a friend had. I don't remember the answer to any of your questions for certain, but from memory, this is what I THINK it was like...

1) I'm pretty sure you could set them into different modes (single and multi).
2) I'm pretty sure you could use different drum patterns. Time signatures... not sure.
3) The main gist of it is that the slave is locked into the tempo and the overall start and stop of the other unit. Other than that You can do whatever you want with it.

Again, doing this from memory and I didn't try in a log of depth.
