Well vguitarforums is one of the better musician sites on the web these days. I think it has to do with intelligent well-mannered people.

As 'Bingin Bart' used to say for His Radio tagline when he gave his morning wind reports at the Columbia Gorge:

" attitude is everything"

Bart was a local boy who got into windsurfing when it started to become popular back in the mid-1980s. Since the Columbia Gorge was now becoming the wind mecca for testosterone-fueled males, there tended to be conflict with the locals.

Before Windsurfing took control of the area, the local economy was based on apples and logs. The area boomed with windsurfing, land prices went up and the place became crowded with an endless stream of apparent wealth looking for abundant wind can a new place to settle.

Bart was the bridge between the two communities, working class locals and the Leisure Class newcomers.

Bart knew that we could peacefully coexist within the context of the upcoming dramatic change that a boom brings and made sure that the newcomers understood that displaying a good attitude towards the locals and each other on the water was the ideal to strive towards.

Vguitarforum members show that ideal of what internet forms can be.

I think whippingpost said it the best and I paraphrase, we are all part of the same family.

Musician's philosophy lyrics from Crosby Stills and Nash

"We are stardust, we are golden
We are billion year old carbon
And we got to get ourselves back to the garden"

we are now at 25,000 -

despite Guitar Synth popularity being "selective"
https://www.theguardian.com/music/2010/feb/15/guitar-synth
QuoteWhat's the best ever guitar synth song? David Bowie's classic 1980 single Ashes to Ashes is driven by a multi-tracked choir of Roland GR-500s. But the great thing about guitar synths was that they suggested the future of pop music should look and sound like the theme tune from Bubblegum Crisis

Two dozen apostles and the rest are ardent followers (not all are destined to be apostles I guess  ;D)...nothing comes near this site with regard to expertise from the few that the vast majority have been gaining from.......hats off to the site gurus !!  Let this site's membership grow in leaps and bounds in the coming times positively......
