If your slide knocks against the frets, try a Dulop Slide Converter capo



Sweetwater has one for $20. One guy on youtube said he used a threaded bolt for a nut raiser, but I don't want to scratch things up.

Using a slide with Vguitar of course really unlocks the resonator model, but it can sound pretty amazing with MIDI patches on GR-55 too. The slide restores that missing organic feeling to PCM. It's like Clara Rockwell on theramin.

You guys might have known about this gizmo, but it was news to me, so I thought I should mention it.
