Tell me your opinion about uploading to this forum your VG-99 videos, as you upload your VG-99 patches!!! It may be helpfull and fun! Think about it!!!

Its tough to do decent resolution videos with our 5MB file limitation. Our bandwidth for our server will go through the roof and add cost $$, which I'm positive no one will contribute.

Why not upload your VG-99 videos to YouTube or Google Video and post a URL Link -

Many VG-99 Videos are here
http://www.truveo.com/search.php?query=vg-99&uqs=

I uploaded a VG-99 YouTube vid last year - it's a demo of the Freeze feature -  which for some reason isn't "caught" by the Truveo engine. It's here:

enjoy,

I'd prefer to have the files hosted on Youtube (or elsewhere) and then given the link. I'd donate a couple of bucks if I had the money and DIDN'T just buy my VG-99 hence my being broke (being unemployed doesn't help either).

Yes - thats what this whole thread is about

Add your URL links to VG-99 Videos in the replies.

Kostas Greece

Ok. Can you make a section that users can send their URLs, so all the video links are together?

Please add URL links to external Videos right here. Its a sticky and they will not get lost here

Good idea...
But what would maybe easier to manage (to produce good sounding videos isn´t as easy as->) is a mp3 soundpool of patches and/or a chart for each patch, so everyone could rebuild it... hmmm... quite a lot of work.. but no patch will destroy your settings  ;D

Lots of Gear. :)

Hi, I entered the Hockey Night In Canada "Theme Song/Anthem"  Challenge.

I recorded all guitars, bass and some stringy synth parts (mostly burried) with my VG-99.

Please check it out and if you like it I would love to have your vote and support!

Thanks in advance and long live Roland and their commitment to V-Gear !

Synth sounds are produced by the VG99, really ?

Thanks.  The contest rules stipulated a 30 second anthem for the opening of the show.  Like I said, the stringy synth I used is buried (by a sampled orchestra).  I used two different guitar patches and one bass patch.  The guitar patches were custom but the bass patch is the factory Instabass 345.

Hey Kostas.  You might want to check out my patch for "get out of my yard".  https://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,212.0.html     I made it last year.   I will make an mp3 or video for it if I get around to it...  Paul Gilbert rules!

Cool. I think I'm going to redo it and emphasize the features of the VG-99 more, for those who aren't familiar with it, and be less improvisational with my playing.
