If I'm right the requirements are 9v 280 mA, is that right? Is anyone using this with a pedalboard power supply? Would a 9v 300 mA do the trick? Any noise issues? There's some sort of buffer or something on the MS3 cable. Thanks in advance

Highly recommend you use a TruTone/Visual Sound Onespot  - it provides 9VDC @ 1700mA

http://truetone.com/1-spot/
Handles from one to well over twenty guitar pedals (1700mA max!)
Heavy duty output cable.
Use with optional multi-plug cable(s) for powering more than one pedal.
Guaranteed to work with over 90% of the effects pedals on the market!
With optional converter plugs, the 1 SPOT will work with virtually ANY 9V pedal! ...even Line 6 modeling pedals! **
Will even convert international voltage (100V-240V) automatically; no transformer needed!
3 meter (10′) cable is almost twice as long as other adapter cables.
Only takes up ONE position on your outlet strip or wall outlet!!

best to have plenty of reserve DC current

a PS with only 300mA may  yield more hum  / noise

That's handy, as I own a Onespot. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the reply
