Hi ainsoph,

Nice playing and tone.  Frank Gambale meets Allan Holdsworth.

Here's one tone you might like find for all of us here...John Hiseman in an interview on the 1973 Tempest album, says Allan Holdsworth played a Gibson L4. Doesn't sound like one to me.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi ainsoph,

Checked out your dropbox sample L4 tone, and it sounds like a very playable Holdsworth '73 tempest tone. With a few tweaks, your patch would be very close to Holdsworth/Tempest '73.

Thanks for your incredible tone-searching patches on the forum btw.

Great lines and tone - is that one of the patches you've uploaded. It sounds like a distortion guitar but some parts sounds like a synth going on alongside!
