Hi folks.....   I've been unable to get the FS-7 (set to polarity 1 and momentary on the FS-7) to do tap tempo on the GP-10... I have seen the "chart" showing different combinations of toggle/momentary in BTS as it relates to toggle/momentary on pedals... but still no luck....
I appreciate any help!

There two ways for setting up Tap Tempo to be assigned to the CTL pedals:

SYSTEM BASED -
With this method you will be assigning whichever of the two CTl pedals you wish to be a dedicated Tap Tempo switch. This means that whichever patch you are on at any given point, the assigned CTL pedal will always be Tap Tempo.

To change the GP-10's CTL Pedal 1 or 2 to a System based assignment to TAP TEMPO:

1. Press the SYSTEM button.

2. Press the Page Right arrow till you get to the screen that
    says:
                       SysCtl:CTL1 Func/

3. Turn the PATCH/VALUE knob until the function on the
    screen says:
                       TAP TEMPO

PATCH BASED -
With this method you will be assigning whichever of the two CTl pedals you wish to be a dedicated Tap Tempo switch, but only doing this assignment on a patch by patch basis.

To change an individual patch's assignment to TAP TEMPO:

1. Tap the EFFECTS button until the screen says:
                       Ctl:CTL1 Func

2. Turn the PATCH/VALUE knob until the function on the
    screen says:
                       TAP TEMPO

---

Set the FS-7 for momentary and connect to the CTL3/4 jack on GP-10

Unlike other Boss GT processors, on the GP-10 TAP TEMPO is not in the ASSIGN area. -

On GP-10 the External FS-7 will be either CTL3 or CTL 4 , and use the CTL/GK/EXP setup area of BTS to create your Tap Tempo
