This one is a stratocaster on the neck pickup tuned down -7 with some chorus and ambience on the B side.
The A side has a dreamy organish sound you can fade in with FX pedal A on the FC-300.
The B side is the stratocaster sound and you can adjust overall volume with FX pedal B on the FC-300.

Enjoy, experiment!

You should be able to associate the files you downloaded to the VG-99 editor application and then they should work fine.  Hopefully!  The applets to change the associations are usually in the windows control panel.

Thanks for hanging in with this. I don't know how to change associations? I go to the control panel & then...?

When I dnload, it says "index" (ie picture file) & there's nothing I can change there...I'm stuck...

OK let's try this!

To change which program starts when you double-click a file, follow these steps:
Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the Start button, and then click Explore.
Click a folder that contains a file of the type that you want Windows to open in a program that you select.
Right-click the file and, depending on the programs installed on your computer, complete one of the following steps:
Click Open With to choose the program that you want.
Point to Open With, and then click Choose Program to choose the program that you want.
The Open With dialog box is displayed. Use one of the following methods to select the program that you want to use for this file type:
In the Programs list, click the program that you want to use.
Click Browse, locate and then click the program that you want to use, and then click Open.
Click Look for the appropriate program on the Web to browse the Internet for the program that you want to use.
Click to select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box if it is not selected.
Click OK.

Note From now on, Windows XP will open all files that have this file name extension in the program that you selected. To change this, you must follow these steps again and associate a different program with this file name extension.

Thanks again. If I understand correctly - existing midi files I had previously dnloaded open OK. It's when I try to dnload a new patch that the computer isn't recognizing it as a midi file, only the graphic. If I dnload it anyway I just get a choice of what graphic program I want to open the pic. This is strange. I think i need to call my computer tech...

update - I'm in the latest Firefox. I tried Internet Explorer & the midi files & mp3's in the post above don't even show up in Internet Explorer?? Is something blocking it from showing & only the graphic is left, rather than the wrong file association?

Many browsers lately are going over the top with security.

Try Chrome, or Safari

Did you just browse to this post with Internet Explorer or did you actually log in to the forum with your user id & password using Internet Explorer. Reason for this question is the fact that the download links only show when you are logged in. I agree with Elantric's suggestion. It might be a good idea to try Chrome which is a free download.

I just confirmed, On Win7 OS,  after last weeks security updates to FireFox browser 8.0,- the file downloads here at VGuitarForums do not work.

Instead they get truncated to "index.php" files

Does not matter if you left click or Right click the files

Suggest use Google Chrome of Apple Safari Browser

Try this since I saw that once - if you just left click instead of right click it downloads to one of my machines as the named files.  If I right click and save-as, it saves as index.php files.  Very peculiar to say the least.  This is on my Windows 7 Professional 64-bit laptop.

Got it!! Thanks for all yr help guys. Very supportive group.

FF was blocking it & I didn't realize I had to sign in on IE. I'm still on XP so even the left click in FF didn't work, but the workaround is to use IE until I change browsers. Thanks again.
