My band is working on David Cook's version of Don't You Forget About Me (sounds like the same Simple Minds backing track with heavier guitars). I have the pad for the verses down but can't nail the synth sounds on the chorus. Doing some research suggested a synth brass sound but its not working for me yet. Any help is appreciated!

Hi dukepershing,
can you post a video with the exact position of the synth chorus?

Not sure if this helps you.

The chorus part I'm speaking of starts around :55. I've worked out some usable sounds but i'm really trying to nail it down. Thanks for helping!

Just in case - here is the patch I'm using - 1 sound for intro boosting and chorus and one choir-based sound for the verse.

THX for a solution, richa.
