Just wanted to share:

I have read in this section that Proel momentary switches were good enough to replace Roland's F5U and/or FS-6.
FS-6 was 49 Euros here. I bought two Proel Momentary pedal switches and an insert cable (Roland PCS 31 costs here more than 10 euros)
In the end I discovered that the two proel momentary switches (PFS20) have the possibility to be joined together, actually resembling an FS-6 unit.
The whole thing cost me 25 Euros... Good bye Roland!
It works like a charm.

Glad you found the info on Proel valuable. When I worked in Italy, i discovered Proel foot switches, and found them to be decent quality at 1/4 Roland prices. at least in Europe. We get a limited number of Proel products here in the USA, and often a US dealer will price these the  same as an equivalent Roland product. We see Proel products mostly used on ebay.

These look excellent. Do I need the on/off or sustain model to emulate the fs6?
