Hello
Is there a site showing simple FTP/laptop/amp setups ?

I'm using my laptop with a Roland Quad-Capture and amp and still getting audible guitar when the controller is set to ' Synth ' only.
I'm guess I'm set up wrongly.

I've read those, elantric, and nothing addresses the problem.  I'm reluctant to contact FTP support again so soon after they helped with my problem with the Windows 7 screen blocking problem.  However........

Run a midi monitor application

switching the Tripleplay three way switch simply sends MIDI CC a different value  - it works when you use the official Tripleplay app as the host for running the supplied NI Guitar Rig

QuoteThis switch on the TP controller sends CC 63 on channel 8 with a value of (using bits 0 and 1):
1 - Guitar - Mute Synth track
3 - Mix - unmute synth and guitar track
2 - Synth - mute guitar track

The guitar-mix-synth switch only affects the guitar audio running thru the FTP app.   If the guitar signal goes elsewhere for processing, the switch won't work.

So, to help, we would need a very detailed description of cabling, connections and software setup.
Address the process rather than the outcome.  Then, the outcome becomes more likely.   - Fripp

elantric, shawnb-   you've answered my question for me.   I wasn't putting the guitar through the FTP software.  Thank you.

I'm so used to working with a GK3 and the Roland Gr-20.   Thanks again.

They must be having a good laugh at the Fishman tech desk   :)
