The audioTester is a low cost but high quality tool in audio measurement

With the help of a high quality sound card your PC will be an audio lab. You measure frequency responses of loudspeakers crossovers, distortion of any audio equipment and impulse responses of loudspeaker system

The audioTester works with all high quality sound cards and Windows. Samplerates up to 192kHz and data witdh til 24bit are possible.

A help file with many measurement examples is included.

· Spectrumanalyse with Fast-Fourier-Transformation (up to 1024k points)
· Sweep measurement (synchronous and asynchronous)
· Asynchronous impulse measurement
· Measurement of Distortions vs. Power
· Measurement of Thiele Small Parameter
· 3D-Diagram for waterfall plots
· Time Diagram above the frequency-diagram
· Presets for all settings
· Frequency response measurement with dirac and MLS impulses
· Impedance plots of loudspeakers
· Up to 8 curves with up to 8 Y scales in the 2D diagram
· Display filter for the curves
· Copy from curves with Drag'n Drop
· Scaling of the diagram to 0dB = max. value or 1kHz
· Distortion, Level Analyser and THD+N with several filters
· Measurement of single harmonics ( H2 - H9 )
· Correction files to make the frequency response linear
· Diagram scale while measuring
· Support of absolute level units ( dbV, dbu ) after calibration
· Sounds and tones to wave files
· Saving diagrams as bitmaps, JPG or textfiles
· Saving measured values as textfile
· Saving of single curves
· Print and Clipboard functions
· Optional ASIO Support *
· OnLine help ( german and englisch )
· OnLine help for wiring diagrams

Now also for Shareware User available:
· Wow and Flutter Measurement for tape recorder

Right Mark Audio Analyzer
http://audio.rightmark.org/products/rmaa.shtml

RMAA suite is designed for testing quality of analog and digital paths of any audio devices, be it a sound card, an MP3 player, a consumer CD/DVD player or an acoustic set. The results are obtained by playing and recording test signals passed through the tested audio path by means of frequency analysis algorithms. A more common mark is also provided for those unfamiliar with measured technical parameters.
A new version is the result of two years of development by best experts in digital audio. RMAA 6.0 raises the bar of comfort and functionality for spectrum analyzers. That's why it is a program of choice for enthusiasts, professionals, and audio magazines around the world; and some manufacturers are developing new devices with the mandatory testing of their quality in RMAA. In short, the program at the moment is a de-facto standard providing quick and easy measurement of technical parameters, without the need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on specialized measurement systems.

RMAA 6 features:
friendly user's interface (all tests and options in single list, new look of HTML report);
added new sample rates (88.2, 176.4 kHz);
added new important parameter in HTML report: Harmonic distortions + noise, dB (A);
added new MONO mode;
added polarity test (HTML report);
added new spectrum plot modes (linear/log/mel);
added support of local languages on spectrum label;
fixed some critical errors.
RMAA 6 and instruction in English is available for free in the Download section.

Commercial version RMAA 6.0 PRO is coming soon.

RMAA 6.0 PRO features:
ASIO support for the first time, only in the professional version;
ASIO diagnostics: supported frequencies, buffers sizes, channels list;
any combination of ASIO i/o channels testing;
using various devices on the same test;
cross API testing (MME, DirectSound, ASIO);
single devices list;
many new parameters are available to change;
friendly, easy-to-use graphical user interface;
many other fixes and improvements.

ARTA - Audio Measurement and Analysis Software
http://www.artalabs.hr/index.htm

Requirements to use the ARTA software are:

Operating systems: Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10.
Processor class Pentium, clock frequency 600 MHz or higher.
Memory requirement for Windows XP is 256MB, and for Vista / Windows 7/8/10 is 2GB.
Full duplex soundcard with synchronous clock for AD and DA converters.
WDM Windows soundcard driver or ASIO driver (ASIO is trademark and software of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH).
The ARTA software has been successfully used with following soundcards:

RME Fireface UFX, UC, UCX, BabyFace Pro, Fireface 800, RME Fireface 400, RME HDSP
M-Audio Audiophile 2496, USB Transit, Mobile USB Pre, Firewire Solo
Axys D-AudioCard (mixer does not work on Windows 8/10)
Echo Gina24, Echo Layla 24, Echo Indigo I/O (notebook)
EMU 1820M, 1616M, 0204USB, 0404USB (*), EMU USB Tracker Pre (*)
Roland Quad and Duo Capture USB audio interfaces
Marian Trace Alpha, Terratec EWX 24/96 (*)
Focusrite Scarlett USB serie
Steinberg UR-22Mk2 USB audio interface
Digigram VxPocket 440 (*) - a notebook PCMCIA card
TASCAM US122L, US-2x2
Infrasonic Quartet, Sound Devices USBPre2
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi (works on all sampling frequencies in sound creation mode)
ESI Juli, U24 XL, ESI Quatafire 610, EgoSys Waveterminal 24
Creative Soundblaster Live 24 (*) and Extigy-USB (*), Audigy ZS laptop, but only at 48kHz sampling frequency,
Turtle Beach Pinnacle and Fuji (*)
Soundblaster MP3+ USB (notice: don't install SB driver, use a Windows default driver),
Soundcards and on-board audio with AC97 codecs,
* For this older cards driver does not work in Windows 7 / 8 / 10

Installation of this software is easy; just run the installation program.

Setup of interface to soundcard on various operating systems is described in User manual.

Notice for Windows 10 users:

- On Windows 10 you should make clean install of ARTA. If you have updated from earlier version of Windows 7 / 8 please first uninstall and then install ARTA software again.

- Some sound card drivers needs update (i.e. Steinberg UR22 needs version 1.92). Some souncards works with old drivers (i.e. M-Audio USB Transit, and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2).
Notice for Windows 7 users:

- On Windows 7 / 8 and Vista it is recommended to use ASIO drivers.

- For Windows 7 / 8 - 64bit OS it is recommended to use computer systems with chipsets for the i3/i5/i7 Intel processor family.

Notice for Linux and Mac OS X users

Arta can be used on computers with Linux and Mac OS X operating systems by using Windows emulator programs: Wine on Linux, and Crossover (version of Wine) on Mac.

First install Windows emulator program, then install Arta software using regular ArtaSetupXXX.exe program.

Before starting ARTA, in Wine Configuration Dialog a) set default sound input and output devices and b) set frame of windows to have the Windows native look.
