I have a sound problem in gr-55. He is now with minor and dull, I think even in mono. before it was full-bodied and with good bass. already replace the outgoing cables, reversed the 13-pin cable. played in original patches. the guitar tones are almost good, the biggest problem is the midi sounds such as piano, etc. anyone have any idea what can be? ???

Since the GR-55 does NOT respond to MIDI Note On/Off message - I'm not able to determine what you mean by:

"MIDI sounds without bass and mono"

sorry my English badly. I mean that the midi signal seems distant, weak, low volume and no weight. like a toy piano.

What are you driving with MIDI ?

Suggest read the Roland COSM Library

- that explains No MIDI data  is involved with the GK-3, GK13 pin cable or the "GK  input on all devices we talk about.

I sent two samples to the dropbox. the first direct the phones output gr-55. then hear the second sample, which was previously normal. the setup is gr-55 / UCA222 / lightning / ipad mini retina (loopy)

ps: the bass is real

Do you have the GR-55 SYSTEM > OUTPUT SELECT mode set to "Line/Phones"?

Using the GR-55's 'Phones" jack will force the output select mode to "line/phones/", regardless of the output select menu setting.
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

yes, is in the mode line / phones. I'm using both outputs p10 to RCA (UCA-222). Rode other cables and the sound has improved, but still mono.
I made the comparison using the patch Rock Lead Organ that has a well marked stereo pan. Plugging the phone off the gr-55 is stereo, the UCA-222 too, but strangely even using only the lighting cable (without USB hub), in cases the sound is mono. maybe there is some configuration. I will test other apps.

edit: solved: it was a setting that changed inadvertently on the ipad. all 100% again. thank you all! ;)
