FC300 - Extra Switches / FS-5U options

Since I was missing my individual stompbox switching capabilities, I came up with this solution and found some great switches in the process.

This place in the UK makes these tiny double switches that connect to the FC-300 via a stereo cable.  They are like having 2 FS-5U switches in one, for cheaper!  Two switches shipped to my door from the UK cost about $80.  I couldn't be happier, as they are small and sturdy.  Check them out:

My old skb pedalboard, since recently left vacant, now functions as carrying bag for the FC-300 and mounting place for the switches. (See picture)  What else was I going to do with my leftover velcro!  Plus everything is plugged in and ready for the Cat5 connection during gig setup.

There are so many uses for the extra control switches.  Here's 1 example of my live strategy on my Plexi preset for what it's worth.

Ctr 1 - boost pedal in front of amp
Ctr 2 - preamp gain/master preset settings for hi and low gain settings
Ctr 3 - Mod 1 switch (univibe on/off)
Ctr 4 - Toggle Mod 1 between Univibe and Phaser
Ctr 5 - Delay on/off
Ctr 6 - Chorus on/off
EXP 1 and switch - Wah
EXP 2 - Switch kicks in mod 2 with pedal set to rotary speed, when not engaged pedal controls phaser rate.

The possibilities are endless, but this is pretty much my template.  Each patch is a virtual rig.  I have a Marshall rig, Super Rev rig, Jazz Tone rig, and the "Holdsworthian Sound" rig.  That pretty much covers it for me until it is specialty sound time.  Here's a pic of the switches on the pedalboard.
