It's still incredible what we can play with the GR55... My gear for this song : Music Man Luke II BFR True Gold (signed by Steve) GK3 equipped, Roland GR55 guitar Synth, Fractal Audio Axe FX II, Spectrasonics Omnisphere (for the human chord sound), Matrix GT800 FX power amp, Laney 2x12 cabs and RCF NX 12 SMA wedges.

Dominik,
Toooo good, I can see Kate and Leo leaning into the wind at the bow!
Can you comment on how your patch mods with the pedals (Ctl and Exp?) and other patch switching is set up.
I think I'm hearing at least three changes in the guitar driven patches, no?

Thanks Mapperboy...

I build my GR55 patches to match with the Axe ones. The GR55 offers me the modeled guitars and PCM synth sounds but I don't use the Cosm amps and effects... Amps, effects and cabs are all coming from the Axe FX which is pretty much more efficient than Roland gear. For the pure electric guitar sounds, I often mix my Luke EMGs with the modeled guitars of the GR55. For all those reasons, I spend a lot of time programming and testing sounds... Then, when I play alone with backing tracks, I also make program changes via Logic Pro and drive the Axe and The GR in USB. Don't hesitate to come see me and my French friends on Fret-Time.com !

Sorry Dom, I mean't your playing is a bit like Steve Lukather.  Also like the Luke signature guitars too.

Frettime link is now on my frontpage by the way.

Really nice arrangement and I like that you have the synth tracking your bends - very nicely done!

I was also going to say I hear a definite Steve Lukather vibe in the distorted guitar solo!

Nicely done, I'll be checking out fret-time!

Thanks to all of you, I'm glad you like my playing, Steve's just my favorite player, he inspires every note I play... For Machh_2, the voices come from Spectrasonics Omnisphere and the guitar to midi function from the GR55 and the synths are direct from the GR55...

Have a nice christmas !!!!!!!!
