Assuming there are users who have a VG-99 driving a synth/keyboard in a live situation (where both 99 and synth are heard) and I am wondering how you connect the outputs of the VG-99 and outputs of the synth to your main mixer.  Do you simply use 4 inputs of you main board (LR from 99 and LR from synth) or do you mix the 99 and synth with a small mixer in your guitar rig, and go out a single LR to the main mixer?  I know there are lots of considerations going mixer into mixer, with line level vs mic level etc.  Ideally I would like to be able to control the mix in my rig and set the levels of either via pedals etc and basically be able to connect the output of this mix into only 2 inputs on the main mixer, either 2 mic inputs, or and single LR line level input.

An initial thought would be to have a "micro" 4-8 channel mixer, and take the balanced or line outputs of the micro mixer into a line level to mic level converter (Direct Box) such as:

Out of the converter into the main mixer.
