Came across these video's the other day. Nice example of what VG-99 and VB-99 can do:

XRay simon uses both VG99 and VB99:

And Gundy Keller needs no introduction.

Andre Moreira

just notice that he uses GI-20 instead of VG to make guitar to MIDI conversion...

Very cool.

As an aside, someone mentioned over at the VG-8 forum yahoo group that they noticed the guitar-to midi
performance from the VG-99's USB is significantly faster than the MIDI OUT jack performance.

I believe I have verified this myself as all of my Guitar-To-Midi performances have been used the USB MIDI.

Amazing ! Thanks for sharing. XRaySimon is my new hero! :-)

PS. If you want the same Koyabu board it can be found at the following link. Looks like it costs about US$3300 more or less.

That's a nice tone Keller has on the art of sound. Any ideas what patch or parameters it is?

Paresh:  I think I've actually got that patch because Gundy gave out 20 patches of his for free here:

See this link:

The patches I'm talking about are in an attachment posted by user Yellow Napkins at that link..

I think they're really nice.

Thanks I'll check them out. Any idea which one it is?

I thought it was the Bowcaster sound but now I'm not sure.

There's actually a link to MP3 samples of all the sounds - I'll have to see if I can put those up on my server too as there's no
telling how long that kind of thing will stay up.  Stay tuned.

Good to see I wasn't the only person who bought the SL-20 slicer!

Fusion

Now that was something different. I have never seen that KOYABU board before.

Thats true for Mac VG-99 users using Core Audio drivers

However VG-99 Windows ASIO drivers remain a bit sluggish.

After Gundy taught Xray Simon most of what he knows, Roland Germany terminated Gundy's day gig ( sadly)

Explains why we now see Gundy at H& K booth at Musikmesse.
